It was late one night about 40 dog years ago that Robert conceived what would become 5Dogs.

The idea was to sell 5 different hot dogs. So that’s what we did.

People loved our dogs. We didn’t just do one type – we mixed it up. We even catered to vegans. Food for the masses.

We stood beside the live music community in Fortitude Valley, even opening a branch in a local venue for a while. We hired good people and fed the Valley’s patrons each weekend, til the early hours of the morning.

Many moons later, we’re still here. Actually, we’re not just here – we’re in the process of unleashing 5Dogs on the rest of Australia.

Apparently people like the idea of good, honest, gourmet dogs, and small businesses that support the local scene. We sure do.
